Who we are

An education and legal defense organization. We publish research, we teach citizens, we keep the Phyllis Schlafly archives, and we file in court on constitutional principle.

Four states at once

The coverage board

Each column watches one state. Change the state in any column. Every item comes from the live publishing system.

    How to read this

    A count, not a claim

The number counts published items that name the state. It shows where our reporting and our research have concentrated. It does not rank the states.

Every state has a desk, whether the count is large or small. Start a chapter in a state with a small count. The coverage follows the members.

    Chapters, and how one starts

An Eagle chapter is a small group that meets, reads, and teaches. The national office supplies the material.

The chapter directory lists every published state page. Pennsylvania keeps the model page. Use it as the pattern for a new chapter.

    What we teach

    The questions on the desk

We state the principle, then point to the research. Advocacy on these questions is the work of Eagle Action, our 501(c)(4).

    Video and audio

    Watch and listen

A daily radio commentary, two weekly programmes, and a podcast. Each list comes from the live publishing system.

    Events, by where they meet

Eagle Council is the national training conference. Regional events run through the year.

    Founded 1981 · the record

    The Phyllis Schlafly record

Phyllis Schlafly built this organization from a kitchen table in Alton, Illinois. The timeline runs from her birth to the work that continues now.

    Our 501(c)(4) sister organization

The bill, the vote, the candidate: that work happens at Eagle Action.

A 501(c)(3) can teach, publish, and file in court. It cannot run the legislative and electoral fight. Eagle Action carries that part. Go there to contact a legislator, to track a bill, and to act in an election.
