Eagle Forum Education and Legal advances civic education, supports legal defense, and preserves the work of Phyllis Schlafly.
We carry a proven citizen model forward: learn the facts, share the facts, and build a community that can act with purpose.
Our 501(c)(3) work gives families and local leaders clear educational resources. Our chapter network makes those resources useful in homes, meetings, classrooms, and communities.

The Phyllis timeline
A life of research, publishing, legal study, national leadership, and local organization created a durable citizen network.
Birth in St. Louis
Phyllis McAlpin Stewart is born in St. Louis, Missouri.
Work and university
She works at an ordnance plant. She graduates from Washington University with honors in 1944.
Master of Arts
She completes her M.A. in government at Radcliffe College, Harvard.
Congressional campaign
She wins a Republican primary. The campaign starts a new period of national public leadership.
Education initiative
She helps establish the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation as an educational initiative.
A Choice Not an Echo
Her self-published book becomes a major tool for citizen education.

A monthly publication creates a consistent platform for research and communication.
Eagle Council network
